Hello hello!
Been a bit. Sorry for the delay. Combination of nothing jumping out spectacularly worth writing and…me being quite busy, but we’re here now. We’re back. Welcome.
Today we’re talking about Batman.
The Batman — Superhero content in general has always dominated the internet, and pop cultural in general, and, well, everything. The classic Spider Man pointing meme has a strong case for the GOAT conversation, and while he doesn’t have a meme quite as famous as that one, Batman has been a consistent part of the conversation since the 1930s and has not left since, so it should come as no surprise that a new film being released would dominate social media.
The funny thing we often see with Batman is people making fun of him for his vigilante antics (vigilantics?). For example, though it has been inactive since 2020, there was an entire twitter account committed to just making fun of this. Check it out, funny stuff.
That trend continued a bit with this movie, but with critical reception the highest for a film starring Batman since the Bale days, it spread well beyond that and just took over the internet. Here’s some examples below of trends I have seen people still ripping right now.
TikTok: Something in the way. Angsty batman? Nirvana? Brooding? Sign me up. (Tiktok doesn’t let you embed in here, annoying, but feel free to click through)

I see a ton of opportunity for brands here. Easy enough, non-vulgar sound that could be tackled from 100 different directions.
TikTok: Batman beating the brakes off people for minor crimes.
Twitter: Making fun of his eyeliner.
Twitter: Also, a ton of compliments
Also, everyone is super horny over Zoe Kravitz.
Get on it now! A few different ways to jump in.
Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh Batmannnnnn.
Talk soon.
